What is Pending Acceptance status?

Pending Acceptance means your payment has been received and your subscription agreement is now under review by the issuer (the company you're investing in). No action is required from you at this stage.

What happens during this stage

  1. Issuer Reviews Your Investment: The issuer reviews your subscription agreement for compliance and eligibility. This is a standard part of the investment process — being in Pending Acceptance is not a sign that anything is wrong with your application. Timelines for this will vary from the same day to a few weeks.

  2. Securities Uploaded to Your Account: Once your investment has been accepted, generally the next step is for the securities to be uploaded to your account. You should see them in your account within a few weeks. This is true for companies that have appointed Dealmaker Transfer Agent. If you are wondering, you can get in touch with the issuer in order to get a timeline for this process for your deal.

  3. Investment Acceptance Process Complete: Once your investment has been accepted and your securities have been issued, the investment process is complete.

How long does it take for my shares to appear?

Note: Payment date of Apr 3 is just an assumption to show the timeline.

These are tentative dates and can change depending on the issuer company's reviewing cycle/feedback times.

What to expect next?

You'll receive an email notification when your investment status changes. You can also monitor your progress at any time by logging into the Investor Portal and checking your Investment Tracker.

If your status has been Pending Acceptance for several weeks

If your status has not changed for longer than expected, we recommend reaching out directly to the issuer's investor support team. Acceptance timing varies by company and offering, and the issuer is best placed to give you a specific update on where your application stands.
