DealMaker supports three payment methods. The time it takes for your payment to be reflected in your account depends on which one you choose.
Credit Card
Processing time: Immediate to 1 business day. Credit card payments are approved or declined in real time — the same as any online purchase. If your card is declined, contact your card issuer directly (the number is on the back of your card).
ACH (Bank Transfer)
Processing time: 1–5 business days. ACH transfers are batch-processed and do not settle on weekends or U.S. federal holidays. A payment submitted on a Friday may not settle until the following week. Your investment will show as "Pending" until the funds are confirmed.
Wire Transfer
Processing time: Same business day (domestic) | 1–2 business days (international). Domestic wires sent before your bank's cutoff time typically arrive the same day. International wires take longer depending on the banking chain. Your bank can often give you an estimated delivery time.
What Does "Pending" Mean?
"Pending" means your payment has been initiated but not yet confirmed. This is normal. Once the funds are received, your status will update to "Funded" and you'll receive a confirmation email.
If Timing Is Taking Longer Than Expected
- Credit card: Contact your card issuer to confirm the charge went through.
- ACH: Confirm with your bank that the transfer was not returned. See: ACH Payment Returned — What to Do.
- Wire: Confirm with your bank that the wire was sent, then contact DealMaker Support with your wire confirmation details (amount, date, and any reference number).
