Steps to fund via Wire Transfer

A wire transfer is a direct bank-to-bank payment. It's one of the fastest and most secure ways to fund your investment on DealMaker, and is especially suited for larger investment amounts or time-sensitive closings.

How to Fund via Wire Transfer

1. Complete your investment questionnaire and sign your subscription agreement.

2. On the payment page, select Wire Transfer.

3. Your unique wire instructions will appear on screen and be sent to your email. These include:

- Beneficiary name

- Bank name (Wells Fargo)

- Account number

- Routing number

- Reference/memo number (see below)

4. Log in to your bank and initiate the wire using the exact details provided.

5. Once received, your investment status will update automatically in your dashboard.

Your Wire Instructions Are Unique

Every investment on DealMaker generates its own wire instructions, linked specifically to your subscription. Do not reuse wire instructions from a previous investment — this will send your funds to the wrong place. If you are investing through an IRA, see: Investing via an IRA — Custodian Payment Guide.

The Reference/Memo Number

Include the reference or memo number from your wire instructions in every wire you send. This links your payment to your investment. If you forget to include it, contact DealMaker Support before sending the wire.

Processing Times

- Domestic wire: same business day (if sent before your bank's cutoff)

- International wire: 1–2 business days

Your investment will show as "Pending" until the wire is received and matched.

Note on the Bank Account

DealMaker wire payments are received into a Wells Fargo Perfect Receivables account. If your bank teller is unfamiliar with this account type, let them know it is a Wells Fargo Perfect Receivables account — the bank's operations team will recognize it.

What to Do If Something Goes Wrong

If you sent funds to the wrong account, or your wire hasn't been matched after 2 business days, contact DealMaker Support immediately. Do not send a second wire without speaking to us first.
