Payment Methods
DealMaker allows three payment methods:
- Credit Card
- Wire Transfer
- Bank-to-Bank, using the ACH network
Each offering will have different payment methods, which you can find on the deal's page.
"Pending," or “unpaid” status
Is your payment's transaction status marked as "pending" or "unpaid"? If so, your funds have been received by the issuer and are currently being processed.
When funds from your payment method are received and cleared by your issuer's bank, your transaction status will be updated from either “unpaid” or “pending” to “paid”. You’ll also receive an email from DealMaker confirming your payment.
How long do I have to wait?
Credit Cards: Instant. Just like paying for groceries, gas, or coffee, your payment will be either approved or declined. If your payment is declined, contact your credit card provider (the number is usually listed on the back of the card).
Wire Transfer: 1 business day. Domestic wire transfers will take less time than international transfers. Your bank or financial institution might be able to tell you exactly how long the transfer will take, and might also be able to speed up the process.
Bank-to-bank: up to 5 business days. Until the transfer is cleared, your investment will show as “pending.”
