Whether you’re investing under Regulation A, D, or CF, DealMaker provides the tools you need to submit your investment, track your status, access documents, and interact with issuers.

Because we operate in a regulated industry, the platform follows a structured series of steps that must be completed in full. This guide will help you troubleshoot common account issues, access your documentation, and navigate the investor dashboard.

🔐 Account Access & Activity

I lost access to my email — how can I get into my account?

If your DealMaker account was created with an email you can no longer access, submit a support request and provide your full name, investment details, and the new email you wish to associate with your account. The support team will guide you through identity verification and securely update your email address.

What is OTP (One-Time Password)?

OTP stands for One-Time Password — a temporary code DealMaker emails to you if you have trouble accessing your account. This adds an extra layer of account protection. OTPs expire quickly for security reasons; if it doesn't work, request a new one by attempting to log in again.

I forgot my password.

Click “Reset your Password?” on the login screen. Enter your email, and if your email address is present in our database, you will receive a password recovery link at your email address within a few minutes. This link will expire after a short period.

I’m locked out of my account

After too many failed login attempts, your account may be temporarily locked. Wait a few minutes and try again. If you're still locked out:

  • Clear your browser cache

  • Ensure you're entering the correct OTP

  • Contact support to manually reset your access

How can I change my email?

To change your email:

  • Submit a request via the support center

  • Include your full name and investment details

  • For email changes, you must verify ownership of the new address

🌐 Logging In with Social Accounts

DealMaker allows you to log in using your social accounts. Here's how to do it:

  • Facebook: On the login page, click “Continue with Facebook.” Log into your Facebook account to proceed.

  • Google: Select “Continue with Google.” Use your Gmail credentials to authenticate.

  • Apple: Use your Apple Account to sign in to DealMaker.

Important: Please make sure you’re using the same email address associated with your DealMaker account and the one you used when making your investment.

If you enter an email address that isn’t associated with a DealMaker investment, you may log into an account that doesn’t show your investment details.

📭 Unsubscribing or Deleting Your Account

How do I unsubscribe from marketing emails?

You can unsubscribe by:

  • Clicking “Unsubscribe” at the bottom of any DealMaker marketing email

  • Adjusting your preferences in your dashboard

  • Submitting a request to support

This will not affect transactional or compliance-related communications.

How do I delete my account?

If you want to permanently delete your DealMaker account:

  • Submit a support request

  • Confirm your identity

  • Understand that this action is irreversible

Deleting your account does not cancel completed investments or erase legally required records. Certain information will be retained per compliance obligations.
