How can I access proof of my investment and resolve issues with confirmation Emails?

This guide explains how to find your subscription agreement and investment documents in your DealMaker account.

When investing through DealMaker, you may need to access proof of your investment. This guide provides step-by-step instructions to help you navigate these processes.

Accessing Your DealMaker Account

To view your investment details and documents, you need to log into your DealMaker account. Follow these steps:

  1. Sign In to Your Account: - Visit the DealMaker sign-in page. - Enter your email and password. - If you prefer, select "Continue with Google" and choose your Google account.

  2. Reset Your Password (if needed): - Go to the password reset page. - Enter the email address used during your investment. - Check your inbox (and spam/junk folders) for an email from [email protected] or from the issuer. Follow the link to set a new password and log in.

Finding Your Book-Entry Statement

Book-entry statements are only available if the issuer has appointed DealMaker as its transfer agent. If DealMaker is not the Transfer Agent, contact the issuer directly to request your statement.

  1. Click the Company you invested in.

  2. Navigate to the "Investments" tab. Alternatively, you can find them under the "Documents" tab as well.

  3. View your investment details and book-entry statements.

The location of your holdings statement depends on your account interface:

  1. Option A: Company page → Investments tab → scroll to Investment Details → click the three vertical dots → select Download Holdings Statement. Please note, this is true only if the company is managed by the DealMaker Transfer Agent.

Option B: Company page → Investments tab → your book-entry statement and subscription agreement are listed directly on the page

Please note, book-entry statement can be found only if the DealMaker Transfer Agent manages the company.

Finding Your Subscription Agreements

You can download your subscription agreement from your DealMaker portal. This document serves as official proof of your investment.

  1. Log into your account.

  2. Click the Company you invested in.

  3. Navigate to the "Investments" tab.

  4. View your investment details and Subscription Agreement.

Resolving Issues with Confirmation Emails

If you haven’t received a confirmation email after investing, consider the following:

  1. Bank-to-Bank Transfers: - Allow 3–5 business days for funds to clear. - Once cleared, your investment will appear in your account, and you’ll receive a notification email.

  2. Pending Acceptance: - After payment clears, your investment status changes to "Pending Acceptance." - You’ll be notified once the issuer reviews and countersigns your investment.

Notifications and Timelines

Processing times for securities can vary, especially during high transaction volumes. You will receive a notification once your securities are available in your account.
